Biography

Laura Lisbeth Kennedy, a 2009 graduate of Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) is a native of the northern Virginia area. Shortly after graduating with a biology degree, she obtained her RN and BSN degrees. Having worked as a Registered Nurse since 2011, her employment experience includes time in outpatient pediatrics, and at Inova Fairfax Hospital as a Charge Nurse for their Mother and Baby units. Laura obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner Master’s degree from George Mason University and is committed to serving the area in which she grew up. She has a passion for educating her patient population on primary care and attending to acute care needs. From the beginning, Laura’s aspirations have been to provide a continuity of care for her families from infancy through adulthood.
