Sharon’s life passions include family, faith, fitness, and fun. She is married to David, also an Army Veteran, and they have four children. Sharon enjoys running, reading, travel, trying new foods, and genealogy research.
Sharon Simon, a DC area native, completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree at Texas Christian University. She then served in the U.S. Army Nurse Corp and held military and civilian nursing positions in Labor & Delivery, Surgical Services, NICU, and managing Outpatient Clinics. Sharon completed her Master’s of Science Degree at Georgetown University. Sharon holds a National Certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Since becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, Sharon has been focused health promotion, disease prevention, acute care, and retail health services in Northern Virginia. Sharon loves family medicine and has particular professional interests in health promotion, diabetes care, and adolescent health.
